Our CSR Policy

Our purpose as stated in our bylaws:
Logisseo is a human adventure that brings together its employees, clients, and suppliers around an ambition for personal, social, economic, and sustainable development.

Logisseo,

SME committed to CSR

At Logisseo, we are sincerely committed to developing a viable and sustainable CSR strategy. Indeed, it is important to address societal, social, and environmental issues to reduce the negative impact they can have, especially as a logistics provider. We also believe that this must be integrated into a sustainable economic model and are determined to find the right balance to combine all these aspects.

We recognize our role as a key player in improving social well-being, environmental protection, and the creation of sustainable economic value. This is why we implement various actions, addressing different CSR themes to increase our positive impact on our stakeholders, and more broadly, we hope, on society.

This notably includes reducing our carbon footprint, improving working conditions for our employees, and promoting ethical practices throughout our supply chain.

To achieve our objectives, we have developed a detailed action plan. This plan includes initiatives associated with the core issues of ISO 26000 and the criteria of the AFNOR Engagé RSE label (obtained by Logisseo, level 2, in May 2023).

Since Logisseo’s creation, numerous actions have been implemented. We can notably mention the following:

  • Implementation of a profit-sharing bonus amounting to 10% of profits
  • Organization of awareness days and actions focused on QWL (Quality of Life at Work) and health
  • Hiring of people with disabilities and outsourced work in partnership with an ESAT
  • Regular hosting of interns to discover the logistics profession
  • Study and continuous improvement of workstations for greater ergonomics and fewer musculoskeletal disorders
  • Team muscle warm-up
  • Completion of an annual carbon footprint assessment
  • Calculation of the carbon footprint of the logistics activity for each of our clients
  • Partnerships with bicycle delivery companies and electric vehicles
  • Reuse of transparent plastic, dunnage, and cardboard
  • Recovery of materials initially destined for disposal from local companies for reuse in order preparation
  • Elimination of paper delivery notes
  • Purchase of refurbished equipment for IT and production, and repair of it whenever possible
  • Work and partnership with a maximum of local suppliers
  • Presence at committed events in the Angers region
  • Sponsorship of local associations
  • Membership in ADECC and participation in its challenges related to the circular economy
  • Intervention in high schools on CSR and/or logistics professions

Our Internal Stakeholders:

Our internal stakeholders (employees, CSE) are essential partners in achieving these CSR objectives. Our commitment to the well-being and professional development of our employees is central to our approach. We plan to actively involve our employees in CSR-related decision-making processes, encouraging participation in dedicated committees and facilitating open communication. Training programs on CSR principles will be implemented to raise awareness and empower our employees.

We also promote various communication methods, both formal and informal, to encourage open dialogue and improve ourselves, regarding both social and environmental practices, in line with employee expectations. It is also with this in mind that we conduct an employee survey every 2 years.

Our Clients:

Collaboration with our clients is crucial to ensure the alignment of our values with their satisfaction. We strive to involve them as much as possible in our actions, by sending communications about new projects that may impact them, inviting them to participate, or gathering their feedback through a client survey, also conducted every 2 years. It is also important for us to adopt ethical and sustainable business practices to maintain healthy relationships with our clients.

We also try to challenge them on their environmental impact by advising them on more sustainable practices and encouraging them to participate in our tests related to consumables, for example.

Our Suppliers:

The selection of responsible suppliers is one of Logisseo’s flagship projects. Whether for consumable suppliers or PPE, for example, it is important for us to select local companies, and ideally committed to CSR. In 2025, rigorous selection criteria will be implemented through a responsible purchasing charter, favoring suppliers who share our values. Regular supply chain audits will be conducted to ensure compliance with this charter.

Local Communities:

We are committed to collaborating closely with the communities with which we are connected. We already work with local companies to pool our resources and are present in various Angers networks (such as ADECC and Responsible Leaders).

Logisseo, the First and Only SME in the Logistics Sector to be Certified Engagé RSE

Actively engaged in a CSR certification process, in May 2023 we obtained the AFNOR Engagé RSE label, level 2! And this is just the beginning… this certification allows us to prioritize our actions to hope to become an « employer of choice » in the region by 2025 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
